Chapter 8: Alignment

Pro Tips (from the book!)

• Always pick a specific target from behind the ball before each shot.

• Visualize your target line from behind the ball to the target.

• Your stance line is created by your feet, knees, hips and shoulders.

• The goal for good alignment is to have your stance line parallel to your target line.

• Using clubs or alignment sticks can be helpful with establishing stance and alignment.

• On the course, pick a small object 2-3 feet past the ball on the target line and align your clubface to that.

• Improper alignment can lead to mis-hits and contact issues.
